Rose Cottage

Rural Dorset between West Bay and Weymouth puts you within reach of the Jurassic Coast's dramatic cliffs and the quieter inland landscape. Rose Cottage sits on a small complex of holiday properties, with countryside and grazing sheep behind, and a pub serving food just a mile away. The shop is half a mile off.

Everything is on the ground floor: a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed (single), and a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. There's private parking on site, and a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a shared patio with garden furniture. One dog is welcome.

From here you can reach Abbotsbury Swannery, Weymouth's beaches and sealife centre, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle, Monkey World and the Tank Museum without much driving. Dorchester is within easy reach too. The cottage does not allow smoking.
