Everything essential for a self-catering stay arrives ready to use at The Barn. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all covered, so you pack lighter and start your holiday without admin. The single-storey barn sits adjacent to the owners' farmhouse near Bridport, with high vaulted ceilings and a design that keeps the whole property on one level—useful for anyone who prefers not to manage stairs.
The open-plan living space has a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a lounge with Freeview TV and French doors onto the garden, and a dining area. Two bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms; the first offers a zip-and-link super king bed (or two singles on request), the second a 5ft king. A third bathroom with a shower sits off the living room. If you're bringing a dog, it stays free and has access to the enclosed lawned garden; parking for two cars is on site, and an EV charging point is available. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Charmouth, with its beach, supermarket, pubs and restaurants, lies less than two miles away, while Lyme Regis and West Bay are also within reach. The property does not permit smoking inside.

Lovely views over the valley, peaceful location. Wine and cookies from the host is a nice touch. The driveway down to the property is sketchy and wouldn't be suitable for low-clearance vehicles. Excellent value though, even if it's a little dated inside.

We stayed in the Barn for a week and enjoyed the warm and comfy accommodation. Perfect location for exploring the Jurassic coast and ideally situated from the M5! Lovely hosts, helpful but not intrusive and an all round good stay! Thank for shovelling the snow!

We spent a perfect week in the lovely Barn which was well equipped, very comfortable and in an ideal location. The amazing view exceeded our expectations and was a delight to return to after visiting nearby places such as Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The two en suites and separate shower room were ideal and the welcome pack was a lovely touch from the perfect hosts. The Barn is also dog friendly with an enclosed garden. We hope to return

A great house with all essentials provided. Was particularly impressed with a travel cot already set-up with mattress and also toddler bedding, ready for use when we got there. All the rooms are a great size and with very comfy bedding and blankets. A lovely living room and kitchen and we were left a welcome basket- such a thoughtful gesture. I really rate this place. Also, on-site parking with lots of room! Location is fab, too, being 5 mins from Lyme Regis. Excellent stay!!!
