St Anne’s Cottages - Magnolia

Weymouth's popularity as a seaside resort rests partly on its sweep of sandy beach and the water sports scene at nearby Portland, but also on the quieter appeal of the Dorset coast itself—the Jurassic headlands, the walking routes along the downs, and the villages strung between here and Lyme Regis. St Anne's Cottages - Magnolia sits on the town's edge, rural enough to feel apart from the bustle yet close enough that the seafront, shops and restaurants are within easy reach.

The cottage is a single-storey property sleeping six across three bedrooms: a double with ensuite, another double, and a twin. A second full bathroom serves the rest of the house. The open-plan living and dining space includes a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and the rest. Freeview television and a DVD player are provided. Outside, there's a gravelled garden with furniture and a barbecue, plus parking for three cars. One dog stays free of charge, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included.

The beach lies two and a half miles away. Dorchester is near for a day inland; so are Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury and West Bay. The property does not allow smoking.
