Cheselbourne is a small Dorset village roughly nine miles from Dorchester, positioned for easy access to both countryside walks and the Jurassic Coast. The Lodge sits here as a recently refurbished property where everything unfolds on one level—useful if stairs are a consideration. It sleeps three: a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and one bathroom with a shower over the bath plus a separate toilet.
The heart of the place is an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with French doors onto the rear garden. You get a smart TV, comfortable seating, and a kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, washing machine. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Outside, the private garden has furniture and a six-person hot tub tucked away from neighbouring properties; a stream runs along the back if you fancy paddling. There is parking for two cars.
Walking is immediate and abundant—the Jurassic Coast lies under twenty minutes away, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door among the accessible stops. Weymouth's beaches are roughly sixteen miles off. The property does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 3pm, departure before 10am.
