Henning Lodge

Dorset's rolling landscape and the Jurassic Coast sit within easy reach of this single-storey lodge. Henning Lodge is one of a cluster of timber-built properties set among mature trees, designed for privacy and comfort. Everything unfolds on one level: a spacious open-plan living area with bi-fold doors onto decking, a fully equipped kitchen, two ensuite bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with a zip-and-link that can be configured as two singles), and a second bathroom. Woodburner, smart TV, dishwasher and all essentials including heating, electricity, linen and towels are provided. Initial logs for the burner come as standard.

The decked area opens onto lawned grounds where you'll find the four-person hot tub, garden furniture and a BBQ. There's private parking for three cars. A stream runs through the grounds. One dog is welcome. The lodge suits couples, families with children (travel cot and highchair available on request) or friends looking for countryside space without the need to manage multiple floors. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
