Amisfield Tower

This ten-bedroom manor house dates to the 16th century and sits on its own grounds near Dumfries, in the southwest of Scotland. The building spreads across three floors and can sleep up to 19 guests, making it suited to large family gatherings or groups booking the entire property to themselves. Four bathrooms serve the bedrooms, which range from a single to a four-poster, and include two ensuite arrangements. Parking for 12 cars is on site.

The main kitchen has an Aga, and there is a utility room with an electric cooker and washing machine for self-catering. A games room contains a snooker table, dartboard and games. Three separate reception rooms each have their own open fire, and a separate dining kitchen offers more formal eating space. The lawned garden includes a summerhouse and seating area. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and the initial fuel for the fires are included. The property does not permit smoking. One dog is welcome to join you.
