The property is on a quiet, rural location but Dumfries town centre is about four and a half miles away, with shops and historical sites including Burns House. The surrounding area offers castles like Caerlaverock and Drumlanrig, clifftop walks, sandy coves, and several gardens open to visitors. No smoking indoors.
