Galloway View is a detached chalet built to frame the views. Positioned on high ground with floor-to-ceiling windows and doors throughout, it commands sight lines across the Galloway coastline and Fleet Bay. The entire property sits on the ground floor, with an open-plan living space that includes a woodburner, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and two bedrooms—one with a super king bed and ensuite, the other with zip-and-link singles. Both bedrooms have wet rooms with showers and heated towel rails. There is private parking for two cars, an enclosed courtyard garden with patio furniture and gas barbecue, and a bike store.
Essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, plus wood for the burner. The kitchen is set up for proper self-catering rather than basic holiday cooking. A mile from Gatehouse of Fleet, which has restaurants and shops, the property serves as a base for the Galloway Forest Park, coastal walks, cycling trails and the 5 Stanes mountain bike routes. Kirkcudbright—known for its harbour, art galleries and summer events—is a short drive away. Beaches, fishing, golf, sailing and riding are all within reach. The property does not permit smoking.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in Annabelle’s Den. Great wee lodge with use of a private hot tub which was fantastic at night under the stars or in our case rain haha which didn’t put us off a bit. Bed was so comfy was a bit difficult getting out of it. Lots to do in surrounding area. Would definitely return.
