Burnside is a ground-floor studio where a large picture window frames a stream that winds through the garden beyond. The whole space works as one flowing area: a kitchen with electric cooking and full appliances, a living zone with seating and television, a dining section in the conservatory, and a separate bedroom with double bed and walk-in wet room. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A stone bench sits in the rose garden; parking for one car is on site.
The hamlet of Torthorwald is quiet and rural, a short walk from a local pub and restaurant. Lochmaben village nearby has a shop and cashpoint. Dumfries town centre, with its shops and historical buildings including Burns House, is within reach for a day out. The wider region offers 200 miles of coastline with beaches and hidden bays, mountain biking trails, and hill walks for those who want them. This is not a property for children. Smoking is not permitted.
