Cairndoon Steading

Cairndoon Steading is a converted stone farmbuilding sleeping six across three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with almost every window framing the Galloway Hills, the sea or open countryside. The ground floor contains an open-plan living area with a kitchen equipped for full self-catering, plus a utility room with washing machine and dishwasher. Bedroom one on this level has two single beds and its own shower room. Upstairs, bedroom two offers a double bed with an ensuite, while bedroom three has two singles and another ensuite. The property retains original stonework and oak lintels alongside modern comforts including oil central heating, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi.

A large garden with patio and parking for eight cars means space for groups or extended families. The location suits cyclists and hikers exploring the patchwork countryside and quieter beaches of the region, while the wider area offers good restaurants and activities. Bed linen, towels and utilities are included. No smoking is permitted throughout. Note that the staircase spindles have gaps of 10–12cm between them.
