Clarksburn Blue

Clarksburn Blue is a ground-floor cottage in Monreith, a small hamlet near Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway. The house sits among woodland gardens with views across to Luce Bay. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a king, two doubles, and a twin. Two bathrooms serve the property—one with a walk-in shower, one with a bath and shower over. There's no step to the entrance, making access straightforward. The layout centres on a large living and dining room with a wood-burning stove and views towards the bay; the kitchen is modern and opens directly onto the garden.

The cottage comes with Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels, and wood-burner fuel included. Electricity is metered. You get a welcome pack, highchair, and parking for three cars on site. The front garden has seating and furniture; an unfenced stream runs through the grounds. Smoking is not permitted. Monreith Sands Holiday Park is nearby, and the coast here includes long sandy beaches suitable for swimming and fishing depending on the season. The area is within reach of the more rugged Dumfries and Galloway coastline and beaches that emerge fully when the tide recedes.
