Dumfries and Galloway

Southerness village sits on the Solway coast where sandy beaches meet quiet countryside within reach of Dumfries and Galloway's walking, cycling and forest trails. Firth Lodge is a ground-floor detached property positioned just 100 yards from the beach, with direct access to the kind of coastal landscape that draws visitors to south-west Scotland: RSPB reserves, dramatic shorelines, and the Galloway Forest Park's mountain biking routes nearby.
The three bedrooms sleep six—a king, two singles, and a single with pull-out single bed. One bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan living space includes a sitting area with Freeview TV, a dining section with French doors to the garden, and a kitchen fitted for self-catering. A separate sun room, enclosed garden with seating, and parking for three cars complete the layout. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, plus Wi-Fi. One dog stays free.
The village location means a shop, pub and restaurant are 200 yards away. A championship golf course sits 300 yards off. Sweetheart Abbey, Drumlanrig Castle and nearby Mabie Farm Park offer indoor alternatives on wetter days. This is not a smoking property.

Just had a great holiday while staying here. Lodge is very comfortable and much bigger inside than it looks. Has everything you need with lovely secure outside area for letting the dog out in. Very quiet area, perhaps a little remote, but just what we wanted for a nice relaxing week away.
