Gardener’s Cottage

Gardener's Cottage is a detached former gardener's residence within the grounds of Bargaly Estate, a historic property near Newton Stewart. Everything is on the ground floor: a living and dining room with woodburner, a kitchen fitted with electric cooking, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine, two bedrooms (one double, one with zip-and-link single beds), and a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; initial logs for the woodburner come with the property. A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

The cottage sleeps four and comes with its own enclosed courtyard garden, complete with furniture and a BBQ. There is on-site parking for two to three cars and a bike store. One dog can stay free. The property draws water from a spring on the grounds. Newton Stewart lies within five miles, and from there the Galloway Hills are accessible for walking and outdoor pursuits. Salmon and trout fishing can be arranged separately. Smoking is not permitted.
