High Threave Cottage suits couples and small families looking for a quiet rural base. The detached cottage sits on a working farm with countryside views, and everything is on the ground floor: a living room with Freeview TV, two bedrooms (one double, one with a double and single bed), a dining room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included, and a welcome pack arrives with you. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Outside, there is parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ. Newton Stewart, a market town with shops and restaurants, is ten minutes away by car. Wigtown—Scotland's National Book Town—is similarly close. The location works well for walking and cycling; Kirroughtree Forest and the 7Stanes mountain bike trails are nearby, and the Galloway Forest and Dark Skies Park are within easy reach.
