Keepers Cottage

Keepers Cottage is a detached two-bedroom property on a rural smallholding, within easy reach of the Solway Coast. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen with a dining space, and a shower room with cubicle. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one single—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Three guests can stay comfortably across the property, which is yours alone.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the burner. There is parking for two cars on site, and a bike store. An enclosed garden area with seating looks out onto the surrounding land.

Mabie Forest sits just over a mile away, with walking trails and the 7Stanes mountain biking routes including singletrack, downhill and beginners' terrain. Kirkconnell Flow Nature Reserve is also nearby for quieter exploration. The cottage works well for a few days or a week away; there is no smoking inside.
