Kevans Farm - The Seaview Retreat comes with everything needed for a self-catering stay: heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided, along with a welcome pack on arrival. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer for cooking, while the living and dining room features a Freeview TV and gas fire. Both bedrooms and the shower room are on the ground floor, accessible via just two steps from the entrance.
The property sleeps three: a king-sized bed in the first bedroom, and a single in the second (suitable for a child). Outside, a private patio has garden furniture and your own wood-fired hot tub, which seats four. There is parking on site for two cars. The location is on a working farm with views across towards Wigtown Bay, away from the bustle but within reach of the coast and inland attractions. No smoking inside.
Newton Stewart is the nearest town and home to good shops and places to eat, while Wigtown, officially Scotland's National Book Town, is also close by. The Isle of Whithorn is a short drive away—a working harbour village with pubs and tearooms overlooking the water. Further afield lie secluded sandy beaches, Galloway Forest Park with its mountain bike trails, and the RSPB's Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve where seabirds nest in the cliffs during spring and summer.

Great little gem with stunning views deer, hares, rabbits and farm life. Nice walks straight from the lodge , across farm land. Lovely hot tub. Cabin is just big enough for two.

A stunning place to stay. The views are incredible. The place is absolutely perfect. Neat, clean and tidy. And everything we needed was provided. The hottub was brilliant and the hosts were the loveliest people. Thanks ! We will absolutely book a return trip.

Amazing! We recently stayed at the seaview snug, everything was perfect, clear communication from the owners regards to checking in, a lovely welcome pack of milk, cereal etc, the whole place was spotlessly clean, really well equipped for cooking, the hot tub was fantastic, the views over the fields to the bay were out of this world. Lovely local walks. Peace and tranquility. I absolutely 1000% recommend staying here to anyone!

I stayed at the Seaview Snug. One of the best stays we've had in the UK. It was incredibly relaxing and I would recommend it to anyone! It was completely remote and private. The area is so peaceful, during our 3 night stay, we didn't hear any human activity whatsoever apart from hearing the tractor once. I would 100% stay again Below are the pros: - WiFi is available with good speed - Smart TV - The whole place was very clean - Electric hot tub was absolutely incredible and very big - Full sized fridge - Air Con in both rooms, powerful and new - Remote and private - No noise or light pollution - Amazing sunsets and sunrises Below are the cons, but do NOT let these put you off from booking! - Some of the windows didn't open - There seemed to be a leak inside the house by the front door - Blinds wouldn't stay up - No shelter available outside, it would be nice to have a parasol - No coffee table inside the house - The pans provided were very used, needs to be replaced. Made me feel sick using it - Induction hob, if you bring your own pan, make sure its compatible with the hob -Extremely blunt knives, to the point that they were dangerously blunt. Bring your own. - No dish drainer - No full body mirror - No recycling bags - TV in bedroom would be nice - Shower pressure wasn't the best - I wish they allowed pets - We kept owner updated upon our arrival and departure, but didn't receive a courtesy response back
