Kindeloch

Kindeloch is a ground-floor cottage where everything spreads across one level. You step in to find the living room immediately, its wide window opening onto views across Loch Kindar towards the Solway Firth and Criffel beyond. A woodburner sits ready for cooler evenings. The kitchen and dining space flow naturally from here, with enough room to cook properly and eat together while looking out over the water.

Three bedrooms branch off the main space: two with king-size beds and their own shower rooms, plus a third with twin single beds served by a separate bathroom with a bath. All three rooms are on the ground floor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. There's an enclosed garden at the back with a seating area, and parking for three cars on site. Smoking is not permitted.

New Abbey sits nearby with Sweetheart Abbey to explore on foot. Dumfries, with its Robert Burns Centre and other attractions, is a short drive away. The flat layout and multiple bathrooms work well for families or groups who want their own space without being isolated from each other. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
