Quare Place

Southerness is a quiet seaside village on the Solway Firth, minutes from long sandy beaches and the working lighthouse. Quare Place is a detached house here, sleeping eight across four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with private parking for four cars. The whole property is yours alone.

Ground floor holds three bedrooms—two with super king beds and ensuite showers, one with a zip-and-link super king (or two singles on request)—plus an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with a woodburner, smart TV, patio doors to the garden, and everything needed to cook proper meals. Upstairs there's a fourth bedroom with two single beds, a family bathroom with a bath, a second living room, and more space to spread out. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. Cots and highchairs are available. The enclosed garden has seating and a patio; smoking is not permitted inside.

The location works for families wanting beach time without a long drive, or for groups needing multiple bedrooms and bathrooms without sharing communal areas. Arrive after 15:00, depart before 10:00.
