This 1800s mill conversion sits at the harbour's edge in a quiet village on the Machars Peninsula, overlooking Garlieston Bay. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms serve four guests in a whole property to yourself. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining area with a kitchen equipped for self-catering; separate toilet on this level too. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower, the other two single beds and a shared bathroom with bath and over-shower. Both bedrooms have televisions. The essentials are covered—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
An enclosed courtyard with seating looks out from the property, and there's a balcony. Parking for two cars is on site. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. The rugged coastline and sandy beaches of the peninsula are immediately accessible, making this a natural base for walkers and cyclists. Wigtown, Scotland's book town, and the historic sites at Whithorn are nearby, as is Galloway Forest Park. One pet is welcome. Please note the unfenced harbour is very close—just 20 yards away.
