Stables Cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage sleeping four on the Corsewall Estate. The entire property is yours alone, arranged on a single floor with thirteen steps to the entrance. Inside, the open-plan living space combines a sitting area with a dining zone and kitchen, where you'll find an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer—everything needed to cook properly. A wood-burning stove warms the living area, with logs supplied. The bedrooms contain a kingsize bed and two singles. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with wi-fi throughout. Private parking accommodates two cars, and a sitting area with garden furniture opens onto the grounds. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
The estate spans 140 acres of shared gardens and woodland, set within Corsewall's wider grounds of historic trees and farmland. Walking trails connect through the property and onto coastal paths along the Galloway coast, with sandy beaches and rocky coves within easy reach. Boat Bank lies just over a mile on foot; Port Beg and Lady Bay are four miles by road. The walled kitchen garden is visible from the cottage, and depending on the season you'll see snowdrops and daffodils in early spring, bluebells in April and May, followed by rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas and camellias through to autumn. Red squirrels, roe deer, barn owls and woodpeckers are among the wildlife to spot. The location suits anyone wanting coastal access, woodland walks and a proper kitchen base for self-catering. No smoking inside the cottage.
