Back to basic campsite with the most terrific views. Chris the owner was really helpful and chatty. Toilet block was clean, we didn't use the shower. Hot water in sinks. Washing up area was spotless but there isn't any hot water outside. The site is on quite a decline so pitches, except the one we were on at the very bottom, were all uneven but if yiu were only in a 1-2 man tent I dont think this would be an issue. For 2 people, a tent and 2 motorbikes we paid £20 for the night. Great site, would highly recommend.

Absolutely love this site! Views are stunning, facilities are perfectly fine despite others reviews. Had a good chat with Chris who is friendly and a great host and loves older cars!!🤗 Came with my wife and daughter and we all feel this is the most picturesque campsite we have stayed on, on our NC500 road trip! We will be back, don't change anything!!👍🏻

Lovely site just off the main road and 100m or so back from the shore, with gorgeous views across the loch, and dog friendly. Has a slightly sad, dilapidated feel though - there's an abandoned building site that you have to scramble through/around to get to the loch, someone's left a disused car rusting out on the drive, there are posters up that are over a decade old, earth embankments around the pitches are held up by rotting and collapsing MDF, the bins were small and overflowing, the toilet block fire extinguisher is an old ex-military halon (!) model designed for aircraft and has auction value as an antique... I could go on! Biggest bugbear was that the shower is an extra 50p a go and only takes 50p pieces. Not easy to forgive when this has been the most expensive campsite we've stayed at in Scotland! But then again, those views are stunning...

View is 5 stars! Right above the banks of the Loch. Not too many pitches so it felt nice and quiet. Also 5 stars for the warden and the information he gave us on all the wildlife. Facilities were rustic. Decent bathrooms, electrical hookup, water and dishwashing sinks. The reason I gave this site only 3 stars is it was ridiculously expensive for not having full facilities. No hot water in the dishwashing sinks and 50 pence box for showers. This was the most expensive site we stayed at in our 10 days touring!
