Broomfield Holiday Park occupies a headland on the edge of Ullapool with direct views over Loch Broom and the Summer Isles beyond. It's a five-minute walk from the harbour, putting ferries, shops and restaurants within easy reach on foot. The family-run site offers level grass pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes, most with sea views and electric hookup, plus a straightforward shower and toilet block with WiFi coverage across the site.
The waterfront position is the real draw here—sunsets over the islands are a regular feature for guests on the seaward side, and dog walks along the shore start right from the pitch. Facilities feel functional rather than luxurious, but the trade-off is unbeatable access to both Ullapool itself and the surrounding coastline.
Popularity through summer and with early CalMac passengers means booking ahead for July and August is strongly recommended. It suits short stopovers and longer stays equally well, particularly for anyone wanting to explore the town without moving the car.

Great camping on the waterside. Great staff and good facilities, all be it the showers in need of a little improvement but do the job. Helpful friendly staff and a great place to watch seals, porpoise and many other wildlife

Great location, facilities good. We had a beach front view. Staff friendly! Got a lovely walk to Rhue lighthouse, nice shops locally, plenty of nice food places!

We were lucky to secure a beautiful plot right by the water. We arrived at 645, strictly gates shut at 7pm so we were very lucky! Efficient check in. Facilities basic but just what we needed. Warm shower and clean toilets. Nearby facilities to refill our water and get rid of waste. Walking distance to big tesco and a few pubs/restaurants.

Wonderful location with stunning views over Loch Broom. Watch the ferries from Stornaway come & go. The pitches and general park is very well maintained. So unfortunate that the facilities are an absolute horror. Damp, smelly, dirty and quite unsanitary. They were never clean and the soak away drains were swimming in grime, hair and filth. The facility blocks really let this place down, and sadly for this reason would not be keen to return.
