St Enodoc

Photo: St Enodoc Golf Club

St Enodoc is a traditional stone cottage built around an open fireplace, its character intact and its appeal straightforward. Two double bedrooms upstairs, a shower room, and downstairs a living room where the fire is the natural focal point, alongside a separate dining room and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. The essentials—bed linen, towels and wifi—are supplied, and the initial fuel for the fire is included.

Wadebridge sits on the edge of the Cornish coast, close enough to the Rock-Padstow Ferry for a day trip across the water. A pub lies within a mile, and the town itself has what you need: shops, restaurants and a shingle beach nearby. The property sleeps four and comes to you whole—no shared spaces, no other guests. Smoking is not permitted inside. Arrive from 15:00, depart by 10:00.

My son and husband went there and they said they had an absolutely amazing time. They said the course was in great shape and that they had a great time. They said the service was immaculate and that the people at the Pro shop and the front desk were very Welcoming, they said the locker room was very nice and that the food was great. Also not just the church course but the Hollywell course we’re both phenomenal both absolutely immaculate with fast running greens and well cut fairways and tea boxes. all in all a Very successful couple days of Golf.

Great golf course, the signature Himalayan hole and also the 10th. Wonderful views of Rock , Padstow. Beautiful church with the grave of John Betjeman. The 4 holes round by the church not in keeping with the rest of the course and let it down. Great facilities and superb staff. Love it

The best links golf in Cornwall, a lovely clubhouse with beautiful views over the course and out to sea. The facilities are every thing you need for a special experience, if you have a tee time get there a couple of hours early, enjoy a snack and relax , take in the memorabilia in the clubhouse and get in the mood for your round. The practice facilities are excellent and will get you warmed up ready for the first tee. The Church course is a superb test of golf with fantastic sea and country views. After your round there are good changing rooms and showers, a lovely bar and a super upstairs terrace with a great vista. Do set a day aside on your holiday in Cornwall to play this truly exceptional course, you won't regret it.

I played St Enodoc today, it is an absolutly stunning raw links golf course, that requires a lot of precision around the greens and good iron play. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for out back 9 but there are some truly stunning holes on the Church Course. The staff were absolutely lovely and eliminated any sort of nerves with playing a top championship golf course. Lauren at reception especially was incredibly warm and we felt as if we'd been members for years at the club, the food also was fantastic in the club house and was exactly what we wanted before a round. All together we had a marvelous day (aside from the crappy weather) and I will be returning in the future hopefully with blue skies.
