These gardens are AMAZING! I came across this place by accident but very thankful that I did. We took the garden tour with Clive. He was brilliant! Very informative and interesting, friendly and approachable. Every member of staff we met were extremely welcoming. I will definitely be recommending Crook Hall gardens to anyone visiting the Durham area. 5*.

Lovely gardens with the gorgeous hall, signage throught clearly highlights the fascinating history of the grounds. The garden is well maintained and provides numerous benches to sit and take in the scenery and the hall itself is kept to excellent condition. Crook hall also hosts a lovely cafe though I found prices to be slightly more expensive that one would expect for baked goods. The staff are very friendly and helpful with information about the area, its history and tours that can be accessed. The car park is small and the entrance is very steep but if you are visiting during the week there was plenty of spaces available.

Visited for the first time today, the staff were all so lovely&friendly! The gardens/flowers were all so beautiful and well kept. It was so peaceful wandering around and it was nice to be able to get a wheelchair around. My grandma loved seeing the different gardens. Parking was easy to use with my membership card. Worth visiting for sure :)

The gardens of an old manor house. These are divided up into smaller area each one with its own theme. Most enjoyable for those with an interest in gardening. Not much for teenagers, but a good maze enjoyed by adults and children up to about 12. A 2 to 3 hour visit would be enough for most. National Trust property, very handy to the centre of Durham.
