North Lodge Cottage is a single-storey property in County Durham, positioned between Durham and Newcastle with straightforward access to major roads. The Lambton Worm legend marks the area's character, and a pub sits within a mile on foot. Three cars can park on site, and one small or medium dog stays free.

The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king bed (separable into singles if needed), the other with a standard king—sharing a shower room with a walk-in enclosure. Ground-floor living includes a lounge with bay window, a dining room, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The front garden has seating; the rear offers a decked patio area with furniture and planted borders, though not fully enclosed. Guests arrive after 3pm and depart by 10am. No smoking indoors.
