Great spot a few miles off the A1 when travelling. We've stayed twice, quiet at night. Only a water tap, no toilets/showers (look it up, easy to work this out so why write a 1star review!) and very convenient for many local sites including Beamish Open Air Museum, Durham, Newcastle, etc. friendly helpful owners who run the farm.

Great site. Quiet and plenty room for 5 vans. Bus stop and old fashioned pub right outside on main road. We went to Beamish over 2 days and really recommend it. On a working farm and stayed here 4 night for £40. Can’t beat that. Water, toilet emptying station and bins provided. Very friendly owners.

Stayed there for the night with my son and wife and some friends in campervans. Lovely little secluded site ideal for kids as it’s surrounded by trees. Facilities are portaloos but we’re very clean, water and waste disposal on site. Father could not have been more friendly and helpful even showed my son the lamas and new born calf’s. A little gem so close to home.

No shower no toilet no electrical outlet No view, no picknicktable, just a secluded piece of nothing between a road and a farm
