Olive Cottage

This stone cottage dates back generations, though the interior has been thoughtfully updated with everything you need for a comfortable week away. Olive Cottage sits in Barnard Castle, within reach of the Teesdale countryside and Durham's attractions, with a Morrisons nearby for supplies.

Inside, there are two bedrooms sleeping four: a kingsize on the first floor with an en-suite bath, and a twin room. The ground floor holds the living space—wood burner, Smart TV, dining table—and a separate kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and breakfast bar. A bathroom with shower completes that level. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided; the wood burner comes with its initial fuel included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The back garden is the real draw: a private hot tub for four, barbecue, patio furniture and space to sit out. You have on-road parking. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
