Set in Brandon village, just over two miles from Durham city centre, the location offers easy walking distance to local shops and amenities as well as the cathedral and its surrounding heritage sites. The Bay Horse Inn is within a mile. Inside, you have a tv and dvd player, and the enclosed garden gives you outdoor space without leaving the property. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.

We were in Durham to drop our son off at the university. The location was perfect to get us out of the bustle of Durham and into the country, but not too far away, about a 10 min. drive. Our hosts were AMAZING! Very responsive to our needs, helpful and accommodating. The accommodations were charming and clean. We highly recommend this location for your stay!

Really nice place, ideal for a couple. Nice and clean. Very comfortable bed, with en suite, very good shower. Kitchen area has all that you need, including dishwasher and washing machine. Didnt need the heating on, as its so warm in here. The public house which is recommended by John is only a short distance away.and comes with a 10% discount which is handy, if your on a budget.Highly recommended. Ready enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage which was perfectly positioned close to Durham. It was a lovely break en route a drive to Scotland.
