Muirston Farmhouse stands on a working beef and sheep farm in the Ayrshire countryside, yet it is set back as a private retreat. The location puts you within easy reach of fishing at Belston Loch, several of Ayrshire's renowned golf courses, and the villages and towns that lie 2 to 4 miles away with their shops, pubs and restaurants. The elevated position offers views across rolling fields towards the sea and the Isle of Arran.

The farmhouse sleeps 8 across four bedrooms: two with king-size beds downstairs, two doubles upstairs. There is one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The ground floor has a large kitchen with electric oven and hob plus an Aga, a separate dining room, and a living room with a 43-inch television. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. You have private parking for four cars, a bike store, and an enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue. The private hot tub sits at the front of the property.

One small dog is welcome and stays free, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep country. The farmhouse suits families and groups looking for space to spread across; cots, highchairs and a stairgate are available. No smoking indoors.
