What visitors say
Lovely, smaller park. Plenty entertainment and things to do for families. Bar staff are lovely and friendly, remembered me from last year, which is a lovely touch! Food is lovely, breakfast was freshly made and excellent. The portions at dinner were more than enough and tasted far better than I expected from a holiday park. Well worth the extra, holiday park prices. Plenty green spaces for kids to run off their energy. Pool small but enough for an hours swim and fun time. Entertainment staff are spot on with the kids. Overall, a great holiday was had, I’ll def be back!

We spent a weekend at Sundrum Castle. We booked a grass pitch with electric hookup but arrived to a gravel pitch which was not wide enough to pitch our awning correctly. The site will need to be updated to correct this and it would be best to ask for dimensions of your awning as many sites do. The 3 "grass" pitches with electricity are also below unfelled trees so your car/van and awning will be absolutely covered in bird droppings. I'd washed the van before arriving and had to rewash it after each night due to how bad it was plus we've have had a tough time cleaning the awning due to the location. If the park continue to use these pitches, they need to have the trees cut back to keep the beauty of the site without the incredible amount of mess on expensive equipment and it puts a damper on people trying to relax on holiday. I'd be hesitant to return otherwise. The staff that I interacted with were all very pleasant and helpful. They also do a good job at keeping facilities up to standard.

I have a few small issues that could easily be addressed. 1st one being the pool party which I paid £32.50 for only to experience a bit of music (hardly loud enough to hear in the water) and a few floats in the water for half an hour, I really don’t think it’s worth £7.50 per head and for 30 minutes it’s hardly worth getting wet. It’s a shame because although you have free swimming which again is only 30 minutes at a time, the times that were on offer were rubbish with last entry being just after 3pm. I think this schedule needs an overhaul and either scrap the pool party or add it for free because it’s daylight robbery in my opinion and you need at least 90 minutes for it to be a reasonable time limit. 2nd issue was that the on site shop closed at 6pm or 7pm and also closed for an hour at lunch time. This was not very convenient for customer's like myself who needed milk for my child and a last minute beer run. 3rd I think there could have been a bit more on for entertainment in the showbar. Although the kids disco went down well with my kids and I think the troupers did a great job - maybe a certain member could put a wee smile on and at least pretend they are having fun. 4th bar is very expensive. One barman tried to charge me £11.50 for a gin with lemonade, he put it through the till wrong and if my jaw never hit the floor and question him about it then he would have taken that amount, but for some rounds we were £22 odd for two alcoholic drinks and a kids slush puppy which is too expensive, if it were cheaper, we would have spent more time and probably a lot more money if we were getting better value for it, also one barmaid spilled half the wine out of the measure when pouring into the glass, think further training needed for these employees. Overall, I would return to the park as I had no complaints about my caravan, it was clean and spacious for 8 people, but I really hope that my feedback is addressed and action is taken to make positive changes. It is a nice park, has a good swimming pool with flume which is always a bonus, I do think it is a bit greedy for money with the price of activities, food and drinks and of course the puggies so only go if you are willing to be rung dry by your kids because everything is £££.

Took my family for the first time this Easter and we had a great time. Not over crowded but not so quiet the kids couldn't make friends. Didn't have to wait long to be served at the bars. I found the kids entertainment better than havens sites we normally visit. We rebooked we enjoyed it that much. Staff were very friendly.
