Kayshill Cottage

Kayshill Cottage sits on a private drive through open farmland in East Ayrshire, a short drive from Ayr and Cumnock. Inside, the entire layout is on a single floor: a generous open-plan space brings together kitchen, dining and living areas under one roof, making it easy to keep an eye on children or simply stay together as a group. Two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, sit alongside a bathroom equipped with both a bath and walk-in shower. The kitchen has everything needed for real cooking—electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine—rather than the bare minimum.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue provides a safe space for outdoor time and a place to sit. Parking for two cars is on site. One dog stays free. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; a travel cot and highchair are available. The cottage does not permit smoking.

Ayr Beach is within reach for days by the water. Dumfries House, Heads of Ayr Farm Park and Ayr Racecourse are all nearby. The local pubs and restaurants in surrounding villages offer an evening out without the drive back to a town centre.
