Uplyme sits just inland from the Jurassic Coast, a village tucked between Lyme Regis and open countryside. Coombehayes Barn is a converted farmhouse on the edge of the village, down a private drive, where a heated indoor pool forms the heart of the building—a genuine draw for families who want to swim regardless of the weather outside.
The property sleeps 12 across five bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over two floors. One bedroom has an ensuite and a super king bed; another pairs a super king with two singles in the same ensuite. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs, sharing a family bathroom. Downstairs, a living room with a wood-burning stove and television opens onto the garden, and the kitchen has a full range of cookers plus a dishwasher. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are covered. The enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and a barbecue; a garage houses a table tennis table. One dog is welcome.
The village green with playground and pub lies a short walk away. The East Devon Way starts at the end of the drive, and several beaches sit within a few minutes' drive. Lyme Regis itself is just over a mile down the coast road.

What a lovely setting. I cooked at Coombehayes Barn last night for a family of 8. South Street Supper Club(me) travelsthe south west cooking yummy food in homes, venue hires, Airbnb, well anywherereally. ( drop me a dm if you want a private chef for your events)travels across the south west to fill your minds and bellies with fabulous food. Great facilities, the kitchen is well equipped and I needed for nothing. The house even had a pool!!!!(I didn't go in obs as I was cooking) a games room was being used by the guests as well. Beautiful house with an amazing swimming pool. Lovely location with Lyme Regis only a short walk away. So good we quickly booked another week in December. Just had our second holiday here. Had a lovely stay and will definitely visit again.

Amazing! Swimming pool was the best part, but no expense spared on any part of the house. The ice cube maker got lots of use too. Lovely space the whole family could enjoy, never a dull day. Just what we needed, just right. An adult swing and a butter dish would have been nice :)

Fabulous cottage with excellent amenities. Well set up for children and teens with swings, table tennis, table football, a PS4 and indoor pool. Very well set up kitchen also. Just be aware the twin room accessed up a ladder over a double bed is only really suitable for small children, cute tho! Great location with lovely riverside walk into Lyme Regis (about 35 min) which is a very picturesque town. Highly recommend staying here.
