East Devon's rolling countryside around Furley estate provides the setting for Britannia, a two-storey cottage with its own entrance and grounds. The property sits within eight acres of woodland, fields and water features—enough space to feel properly remote, though the layout means children under seven are not suitable due to unfenced ponds and lakes on the land.

Ground floor holds a generous living room with exposed stone and a woodburner; upstairs, the kitchen and dining space opens to a courtyard patio shared with other estate cottages. The two bedrooms are en-suite: one with a kingsize bed and bath, the second with twin beds (convertible to super-kingsize) and shower. Both have heated towel rails. The kitchen is equipped to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances—and the essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with wi-fi. One dog stays free; there is private parking for a single car and an electric vehicle charging point.

The front has a sitting-out area with garden furniture, while the rear opens to lawned space and patio. The property draws water from a natural spring on the estate. Non-smokers only.
