Seaview Bungalow

The Blackdown Hills National Landscape curves around East Devon in undulating countryside dotted with working farms and quiet lanes. Seaview Bungalow sits on one of those lanes, set back from the road with gardens front and rear that look across farmland. The coast is near enough for a day trip, and the market town of Axminster lies a few miles south.

Everything is on the ground floor: three bedrooms (one with an en-suite, plus a second shower room), a kitchen with a breakfast area, dining room, and living room opening to the garden. The largest bedroom has a zip-and-link super king bed that splits into twins on request. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are provided. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, and there's parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free.

The garden is the real draw—a large enclosed space with lawn and patio, mature trees and shrubs, and places to sit. Inside, the sitting room has a sofa bed (double) if you need extra sleeping space. No smoking throughout. This is a working property with a borehole water supply and a step down into the garden.
