About Lower Keats Glamping
Tucked into the rolling Devon countryside near Axminster, Lower Keats Glamping is a tiny, tranquil escape with just a handful of pitches and a stellar reputation among guests. The site strikes a lovely balance between luxury touches – think hot tub soaks under the stars, spacious showers, and a dog park for four-legged friends – and a proper outdoor feel, with campfires crackling into the evening and barbecues on the go. Facilities include a communal fridge, local produce on sale, and electric car charging, while the surrounding landscape delivers spectacular scenery and walks straight from the gate.
It's a peaceful, remote spot that feels a world away, yet shops, a farmers' market and public transport are all nearby when you need them. Prices start from around £630 a night, so it's a splurge, but the 4.9 Google rating suggests guests think it's worth every penny.

What visitors say
Lower Keats is in a beautiful rural location with a view of where the Devon/Somerset/Dorset borders meet. The Safari Tents are large and have all you need to make your stay comfortable. Having an attached Wet Room and toilet facilities is a bonus. The Honesty shop is well-stocked. We really enjoyed the Pizza evenings, the fresh croissants for breakfast and the cream tea. There is a lot to do in the area and thoroughly recommend Lower Keats for a holiday. Linda & Gary go out of their way to ensure their guests enjoy their stay and we had a fantastic holiday.

My family and I had the most wonderful, idyllic stay at Lower Keats Glamping. Linda and Gary were so welcoming and made getting settled in our beautiful cabin easy and fun. The cabins were perfectly appointed and stocked – comfy enough to feel like you're on holiday and yet considered in ways that still makes it feel like an adventure. Even though we had heavy rain on one of the days, we were warm and cosy thanks to the fire and heated blankets on the beds. When the sun shone the next day, we had breakfast – with LK eggs – out on the veranda. My six year old son was in heaven, roaming around safely near the cabins, playing in the playhouse and was even able to join in for the animal feeding on the farm. Being able to stock up from food at the honesty shop meant that we didn't have to eat every meal out and the pizza night was a big hit! He loved every minute of it. As did we all. Even though it was a long drive from our home in London, once at the farm, everything was on our doorstep – the beach, good pubs, and Lyme Regis. Thank you so much to Linda and Gary for all your hard work to make such a special place. We'll be back!

Just perfection! As a mother of three active, outdoorsy boys, I’m always searching for an adventure that satisfies their love of the outdoors while still accommodating my dislike of camping. At Lower Keats, I finally found exactly what I’d been looking for. There are so many thoughtful touches that make this place feel truly magical. From feeding the animals and relaxing in the hot tub (which my children barely left!), to the breathtaking views, pizza night, and the honesty shop that we practically lived off, every detail has been carefully considered. The homemade scone delivery was a particular highlight, and the safari tent was filled with little touches that made it feel so cosy, comfortable, and welcoming that none of us wanted to leave. What makes it even more special, though, are the incredible owners, Linda and Gary. They are the loveliest couple and an absolute joy to be around. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine care shine through in everything they do, and they are a huge part of what makes Lower Keats such a magical place. The beaches are just a short distance away and are perfect for fossil hunting—another huge hit with my boys. We made wonderful memories here and can’t wait to return. ❤️

We just finished our sixth year of going to Lower Keats Farm for a week and it continues to be an amazingly wonderful place to go. We go with two other families every summer (six adults, six kids, three dogs) and we each have a tent/lodge - the kids have an amazing time playing around the farm, the grown ups spend time hanging out, barbecuing, going for runs around the Devon hills, and there are tonnes of great places to go nearby for walks, beach time, good restaurants, and seaside towns. The owners Linda and Gary are incredibly kind, fun, and welcoming - and their homemade pizza nights at the outdoor pizza oven and farm tours for the kids (where they get to pet, hold, and even walk goats, ducks, chickens, pigs, and cows) are always a massive hit. The lodges are really comfy, and get the perfect mix between getting that 'camping' experience - but still having comfy beds, a kitchen, and the most amazing showers. I would highly recommend Lower Keats for families, couples, and friend groups - it's a wonderful place to escape and have a chilled or active holiday.
