Foresters Rest

Foresters Rest is a single-bedroom cottage in Selborne, a village at the heart of the South Downs. The ground floor contains a living room with a gas fire and smart TV, plus a kitchen/dining room fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, the bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), and there is a bathroom with a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Electricity, gas for the fire, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included.

At the back of the cottage is a patio garden with furniture, and there is parking for one car on site. Selborne itself is known for its links to the naturalist Gilbert White—his house and gardens are open to visitors—and the Zig-Zag Path carved into the hillside offers walks with views across the surrounding landscape. The Selborne Arms is within the village. No smoking is permitted inside.
