Popped in to have a cheeky pint with the partner and have since received a fine for parking in their car park! No clear signage to say parking needed to be validated, no one inside said anything. Since looking at reviews, it seems this happens often. Not good at all!

We popped in for a pot of tea, a shandy and snack (£10.70). We were house hunting in the area.We stayed a maximum of 35mins (as this was confirmed on the parking fine!). We did not see any indication that the car number plate needed to be entered (no console evident!). We were not reminded by the bar person this was needed. So a whistle stop was a costly exercise as the parking fine is £51. I attempted to call the pub on both landline & mobile given online - both did not even ring out. Hopefully we can buy a house in the area WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT ISE THIS AS OUR LOCAL!!

This brilliant pub brought their mobile bar to our wedding last month. They sent a crew of fabulous bar staff. Our guests were able to enjoy drinks at sensible pub prices rather than inflated “event prices”. Big thank you to Sheryl and her team for a great job.

First visit her in a very long time... Drank here in the 1980's and great to revisit. Nice to see it is still a great pub, even though the prices have increased a bit!!! Good selection of beers and friendly service. Will pop back again next to me I am in Liss and add some photos...
