Louisa’s Cottage
East Hampshire
Louisa's Cottage is a converted agricultural building on Downlands Farm, a smallholding in East Hampshire close to the South Downs National Park. The barn conversion has been designed to fit its rural setting while providing comfortable self-catering space for up to five guests. It is the whole property to yourself, with parking on site and an enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and barbecue.
The ground floor is open plan, with living and dining areas, a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch, and a bedroom with a super king bed. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a double and a single bed. There is one bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The heating is oil-fired central. Pets stay free. No smoking.
The cottage sits just off a green lane that leads onto miles of footpaths and bridleways across the National Park. Petersfield, a market town with shops and restaurants, is a 10-minute drive away. Three local pubs are within walking distance or a short car journey. The cathedral cities of Chichester, Guildford, Portsmouth and Winchester are each about 45 minutes' drive, and West Wittering beach is roughly an hour away.
