About Cedar Valley
Tucked into a fold of the South Downs National Park, Cedar Valley spreads across meadow and paddock pitches with sweeping views over Hampshire valleys and farmland. Modern amenity cabins keep facilities clean and well-maintained, while the real draw on weekends is The Dell – the on-site pizza restaurant and bar serving proper wood-fired pizzas alongside coffee and local drinks. Staff are genuinely helpful, and there's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout.
Campfires and barbecues are encouraged (firewood available), and families appreciate the mown play area and generous pitch spacing. Downsides? Opening hours at The Dell vary seasonally, so check ahead if you're counting on Friday-night pizza. The location delivers for walkers and cyclists, with the South Downs Way on the doorstep and several wild swimming spots within reach. West and East Meon's village shops are five minutes by car for supplies, while the south coast sits half an hour away.

What visitors say
Really lovely campsite, the showers were nicer than some hotels I've stayed in! We stayed in the Meadow field and it was quite difficult to find so do read the instructions they send. Stayed Thursday night and it was lovely and quiet, only us and 5 other camps. On the Friday night it was much busier and despite signs saying to be quiet after 9am, children were still running around and playing at 11pm, so bare that in mind if you want a quiet sleep. Lovely location with beautiful sunsets and really nice that fires were allowed.

Beautiful location with great facilities and a bar/cafe that serves food and drinks throughout the day and evening over the weekend. Stayed with a couple of friends and made use of one of their local walking routes which you can find on their website. Great pub stop in East Meon on the last leg of the walk. Will definitely stay again!

We couldn't recommend this campsite more. We stayed for one night with our children and it was brilliant. Great facilities, excellent comms from the owners and delicious pizza and coffees. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

We had the BEST weekend at Cedar Valley! We came for the bonfire event and stayed in the Cowshed Cabin for 2 nights. I cannot recommend enough! I would say pay the extra for bed linen and towels for ease! I would advise taking crocs to get from the bedrooms to the toilet in the night! We will be back in 2026!!!
