Maplescombe

Maplescombe occupies a converted granary building within a stable yard near Rotherfield Park in East Hampshire. The ground floor is one continuous living and dining space with a kitchen at one end, patio doors opening onto an enclosed garden where you can eat outside, and a sitting area with a television. Bedroom one on this level has two single beds that zip together as a double, and there is a bathroom with a bath. Upstairs, bedroom two contains a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower room, while bedroom three has two single beds and a separate ensuite with a bath.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, plus a washer-dryer—so self-catering is straightforward. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. One dog is welcome here. The property sits on the edge of working countryside, with St James's Church nearby and walking and cycling routes through the South Downs readily available. There is parking on site and a shared courtyard with garden furniture.
