Sunbury Cottage
East Hampshire
Sunbury Cottage is a single-storey, four-person bungalow in Clanfield, a village in East Hampshire near the South Downs. Everything happens on the ground floor: a living and dining room with Freeview TV opens to a conservatory overlooking the courtyard garden. The kitchen comes with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer—everything needed to cook proper meals. One bedroom has a double bed and TV; the other has two single beds. The shower room includes a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog stays free, and there is private parking for two cars.
The cottage sits in a quiet lane within walking distance of the village pub, a convenience store and takeaways. Butser Hill and Queen Elizabeth Country Park are minutes away, making this a natural base for walkers and cyclists; there is space to store mountain bikes and an outdoor hose for cleaning them. The South Coast is within reach—Portsmouth is ten minutes by car, and Hayling Island and West Wittering beaches are nearby. Petersfield, the Goodwood Estate and National Trust properties including Petworth House are also accessible for day trips. No smoking is permitted indoors.
