Yew Tree Cottage suits families or small groups after a quiet base with room to spread out. The three bedrooms—one single and two doubles, one designated for children—give flexible sleeping arrangements, though there is one bathroom. Downstairs, the living room has a TV and DVD player, while the kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine for self-catering. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wi-fi and heating. The large garden has seating and furniture, and there is parking for two cars on site.
The cottage sits opposite extensive National Trust heath and woodland, making it a natural choice for walking and exploring. A pub is within a mile. Liphook itself offers basic supplies 400 yards away. Within reach are historic sites including Jane Austen's house, the Mid Hants steam railway, and the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum. Portsmouth, Winchester, Guildford and Chichester are all accessible for day trips, and London is roughly an hour by train. One dog is welcome. Note that the property has steep and narrow stairs.
