The Laurels - Coastal Retreat

The Laurels is a single-storey lodge built for comfort, with everything on one level and direct access to a decked garden overlooking the lakes. Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a double bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over. A spacious open-plan living and dining area leads out to the deck through French doors, where a private hot tub for four sits ready.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob and microwave. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. A welcome pack and complimentary robes and slippers add to the comfort; dogs stay free and receive treats too. The enclosed front garden offers privacy, with parking for two cars. No smoking indoors.

Ingoldmells beach lies a mile away, offering sandy stretches and quiet coastal walks. Skegness, with its amusement arcades, aquarium and traditional seaside attractions, is three and a half miles off. The lodge sits close to well-stocked fishing lakes—a draw for anglers—and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is nearby for birdwatchers. Fantasy Island is also within reach for family outings.
