Barnside Cottage

Barnside Cottage is a converted barn offering everything on one level—a practical layout that means no stairs to navigate. Walk in to a bright open-plan space with high ceilings and full-length windows overlooking an enclosed courtyard garden. The kitchen has an electric cooker, induction hob and the usual appliances; the double bedroom is simple and unfussy; the bathroom has a shower and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included, along with a welcome pack on arrival.

Outside, the gravel courtyard is yours alone, with seating and a barbecue. There's also access to shared grounds with garden furniture. Two cars can park on site. The cottage sits on a working farm near Pocklington, where you'll find restaurants, shops and a market square within easy reach. York's medieval centre is about 30 minutes away by car. No smoking indoors, and there is a step down into the garden.
