Harwood Properties - Pine Meadows Retreat

Pine Meadows Retreat is a two-bedroom lodge where everything you need for a self-catering break is already sorted. The ground floor layout centres on an open-plan living and dining space, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and full-size fridge. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles; there's a shower room with heated towel rail, and both bedrooms have ensuite toilets. Smart TVs are in the living area and both rooms. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with a welcome pack to get you started.

The lodge accommodates four guests and one dog (kept on a lead). Outside, a private garden with furniture and a barbecue looks onto the hot tub, which seats four. Parking for two cars is on site. The property sits on Wilberfoss Holiday Park; the village itself has a shop, butcher and daily-serving pub within walking distance. A bus stop outside the park connects to York and the East Coast. The Yorkshire Wolds are nearby for walking and cycling, while York's attractions—the Minster, Railway Museum, Jorvik centre—are 25 minutes away. No smoking is permitted indoors.
