Fushia Chalet
East Suffolk
Framlingham Castle is a five-minute drive away, and the Suffolk coast—Aldeburgh and Southwold among them—lies within reach for a day out. The immediate setting is quiet countryside; Fushia Chalet sits on two acres with a fishing lake that guests can access, and the hamlet of Saxtead Bottom itself is peaceful enough for walking and cycling. The market town of Framlingham has independent shops, cafés and a farmers' market when you want them.
The chalet is a detached, single-storey property sleeping four. One double bedroom, a shower room, and a living space with a sofa bed make up the interior. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge for self-catering. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue overlooks the grounds; a track leads down to the lake area for fishing or wildlife watching. The garden is not securely fenced, and a gentle slope to the door means level access. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in an external utility room. One pet stays free.
No smoking is permitted. Private parking for two cars is on site.
