Framlingham Castle and its market town are a short drive away, while Aldeburgh and Southwold sit on the coast within reach for a day trip. Rose Chalet itself occupies its own patch of the East Suffolk countryside, with access to two acres of grounds that include a fishing lake. The hamlet of Saxtead Bottom is quiet enough for a genuine retreat, but positioned where there is actually something to do.
The lodge is single-storey and entirely yours for the stay. It centres on an open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed, a wood-burning stove, and patio doors onto a small enclosed garden with furniture. The separate bedroom has a double bed; the ensuite shower room is joined by a second bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge—and there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One dog can stay free.
Parking is on site for two cars. The garden is fenced and child-proof. No smoking is permitted.
