No 6
East Suffolk
No 6 is a Victorian terraced cottage with period character, built in stone and sited on a village street in Wenhaston. The building retains original features throughout, anchored by a wood burner in the sitting room – fuel for the first night included, with supplies available locally. Ground floor space comprises the living area and a separate kitchen/dining room with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, a kingsize bedroom and a single bedroom share a bathroom with bath and shower. The property sleeps three and comes as a whole cottage to yourselves.
A patio and sitting-out area run along the back, with a covered section for shelter when rain arrives. One dog or cat can stay free. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided as standard; there's on-road parking outside. The cottage does not allow smoking indoors.
Wenhaston itself has a pub, post office and shop, with footpaths suitable for walking or cycling. The Suffolk Heritage Coast lies within reach – Southwold and Walberswick are nearby for seaside visits, while RSPB Minsmere is a short drive for birdwatchers and nature reserve walks. The village makes a convenient base for exploring the eastern Suffolk landscape without being on the tourist trail itself.
