September Cottage

Wenhaston sits near enough to the Suffolk coast for a day trip, with shingle beaches and marshland walks within easy driving distance. The village itself has a working church opposite the cottage and the hall hosts events year-round. This is quiet countryside but not remote—shops and pubs are reachable without a car being essential, though having one opens up Southwold and Dunwich.

September Cottage is a terraced property with flint walls and climbing plants, arranged over two floors. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines a sitting area with a wood burner, dining section, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and the usual kit. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Two double bedrooms are upstairs, one with its own toilet and heated towel rail. Linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the burner are provided, along with heating throughout the year. One pet is welcome. A rear garden with patio and barbecue looks onto fields, and there's bike storage on site.

The cottage sleeps four and suits families or two couples wanting their own space without fuss. No smoking inside.
