The Church Rooms
East Suffolk

This former chapel near Halesworth has been converted into a four-bedroom property with two bathrooms, retaining original architectural details throughout. The ground-floor layout centres on an open-plan living space with a woodburner and freeview television, a separate dining area, and a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking. Two kingsize bedrooms and a utility room with a washer-dryer complete the layout. One bathroom has both a bath and shower cubicle; the other is shower only. Electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the ethanol burner is provided as well.
Outside, a small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture sits at the rear, and parking for one car is provided. An electric vehicle charging point is available at cost. Low doorways are a feature throughout the property, so worth noting if mobility is a consideration. One dog may stay at no extra charge. Wenhaston, the village setting, is picturesque and home to the 16th-century Doom Panel painting. The Suffolk coast lies within reach: Dunwich, Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh are all nearby.
